Steelfab explores future of steel and iron industry

The changing face of the structural steel fabrication market and digitisation in steel fabrication were discussed at the 17th ‘SteelFab 2022’, Mena's largest event of its kind. 
 
Currently under way at the Expo Centre Sharjah the event hosts a two-day Machinery Technology Equipment Conference on the sidelines of the exhibition, which discusses the future of the iron and steel industry and global market trends in this vital sector, in the presence of major manufacturers and representatives of the most prominent local and international companies of metalwork.
 
Organised by the Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SteelFab 2022, which runs until January 13, is seeing the participation of over 150 local and international exhibitors from 30 countries and 400 brands of the world's leading brands in the field of metalwork and related industries.
 
The conference featured lectures and dialogue sessions highlighting issues of concern to workers in the iron and steel industry, foremost of which are key learnings from the impact of Covid-19 on demand and supply. 
 
The conference also included live demonstrations and presentations on the most prominent technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the latest equipment and machinery for the steel industry.
