UAE-based Azizi Developments said it has appointed Witteveen+Bos, a well-known landscape and urban design consultancy, for the landscape beautification of the outdoor area of its luxury development, Mina, on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.

Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, has appointed Witteveen+Bos, a well-known landscape and urban design consultancy, to further enhance the aesthetics and usability of the outdoor area of Mina, Azizi’s luxury development on the east crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah.

Spanning nearly 38,500 sq m of built-up area, Mina features 178 units, comprising 120 one- and 54 two-bedroom residences, as well as four spacious penthouses. The project also features several retail units across 1,847 sq m, said the satement from Azizi.

Over 69 percent of the project’s total area is allocated for lifestyle-enhancing amenities, including a children’s’ play area, a jogging track, green outdoor spaces, private beach access, two swimming pools, a fully equipped gym and a comprehensive health club.

According to Azizi, the landscape beautification will encompass both hardscape and softscape elements that will not only add to the unique visual aesthetics of the development, but that will also offer more functionality for its residents.

The softscape palette will establish a vast, open green space surrounding the entirety of the development and effectively creating a lush island look and feel, it stated.

The ethos behind the hardscaping will also reflects this architectural style. Moreover, the front of the development, facing the main road, will be enhanced with extravagant plants to create an exceptional arrival experience for residents and their visitors, it added.

Chief Development Officer Mohamed Ragheb Hussein said: "After a comprehensive review of all landscaping consultancies, we are delighted to have chosen Witteveen+Bos – the best-in-class landscape and urban design consultancy from Europe."

"Their engineers have outstanding expertise and a superb sense of innovation and design. We look forward to this collaboration, which will not only uplift the aesthetics of our most luxurious development, but will also build on the magnificence of what many refer to as the eighth wonder of the world – Palm Jumeirah," he noted.

"The enhanced landscaping will help with fostering a greater sense of belonging and introduce an added touch of elegance to the residences, thereby increasing our valued investors’ ROIs," he stated.

“Our developments, even when already sold out and completed, never cease to be improved – we continuously look for ways to further add value to them and enrich the lives of those who purchase properties from us. Happy residents turn into repeat customers, and word-of-mouth is not to be underestimated either”, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
