Oman opens 38-km-long Barkha dual carriageway


Oman has announced the opening of a 38-km-long dual carriageway, starting from Barka industrial area roundabout and ending at Wadi Mistal roundabout. The project includes seven interchanges, two ravine bridges, and five roundabouts, said a report.

The opening of this road comes after the completion of the last segment of the project, which starts from Al Masalamat region and ends in the Al-Sadyiah region in Nakhal, reported Oman Observer.
 
The dual carriageway includes seven interchanges, two Wadi (ravine) bridges, and five roundabouts. It also consists of an underpass for vehicles, six pedestrian tunnels, one pedestrian overpass, and 27 km services roads, it added.
