Oman's Ministry of Transport has opened a 27-km stretch of the Adam-Haima-Thumrait dual carriageway for traffic, said a report.

Including the 93 km of the first phase of the project, which was opened earlier this year, the ministry has now completed 240 km from the first two phases of the project, said an Oman Daily Observer report.

The 27-km stretch included construction of a two lane road on either side.
